SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE The papers in this collection range from 1936 to 1976. Correspondence, articles, speech transcripts and press releases comprise the bulk of the collection. Copies of Dole's letters are included along with the many letters he received from friends and colleagues. The early correspondence reflects Dole's determination to form the National Ski Patrol.
