The Billy Parker collection dates from 1890s through the early 1990s. The collection includes; papers documenting Parker's early aviation days, business deals, work at Phillips, family, organizations and several letters from aviators describing their early days of flight. There were 113 framed items in Parker's office at his retirement home in Arizona. These items were removed from the frames and placed in the collection files. This collection chronicles the early political history of Greeley, Colorado through the scrapbooks of its first mayor, William Calvin Sanders. Also, Sanders's railroad career and his family's life in Colorado City, Colorado is portrayed in the scrapbooks with newspaper clippings, programs and correspondence.
