The larger image shows Civic Center, the Denver Tramway powerhouse building, Denver Fire Department's Engine House Number One, the Arapahoe County Courthouse, 16th (Sixteenth) Street, the Majestic Building, The Brown Palace Hotel, Sherman Street, and Central Presbyterian Church ca. 1899. The smaller image shows an earlier view of Denver, between 1873 and 1888, with the chimney of the original Denver General Hospital and Arapahoe School in the distance.
