Alfred Edward Rinehart Photograph Collection
Collection consists of glass plate and nitrate negatives of studio portraits of individuals who exemplify the style and fashion of the West for the latter 1800s to the early 20th century. 19 DVD-R discs are also included. The digital files provide positive scans of a selection of negatives from the collection.
Denver aerial survey photograph collection
Collection contains two sets of 8 x 10" glass plate and nitrate black-and-white negatives taken by King's firm in April 1933. One set of 92 out of an original 100 b&w glass plate negatives was used for reproducing aerial photographs of the city of Denver, Colo. based on a defined, numbered grid of 100 images. The other set of 45 b&w glass plate and 6 b&w nitrate negatives were used for creating an aerial mosaic of the city of Denver, Colo.
George L. Beam Papers
Collection contains a burlap covered scrapbook with metal hinges and lock published by Felix Bagel, Dusseldorf, German containing magin illustrations by German painter, C. M. Seyppel. The scrapbook has photographs, typed and printed poetry, quotes and newspaper clippings pasted in by Beam. Additional items include black and white photographs and negatives of Arches National Park, Bryce Canyon, Taos Pueblo, airplanes, and locomotives.
O. W. Fischer studio photograph collection
The collection contains examples of b&w and color studio portraits generated at the O. W. Fischer between 1930-1965. Some portraits are identified and dated. Nitrate negatives have been frozen for preservation.
