Collection contains 19 interviews recorded on cassette tape documenting the lives of individuals living in neighborhoods of Northwest Denver, Colo. during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Two cassette tapes contain a Tom Noel talk on the streetcars of Denver (1981) and Elmer Muth slide presentation (1981). Additional files document the organization: transcripts, correspondence, articles of incorporation, clippings, interview materials, forms.

Content Description The Ruth Eloise Wiberg papers contain materials from 1960s-1990s with some material dating back to 1887 that pertain to Wiberg's research for her book Rediscovering Northwest Denver, which includes the neighborhoods of Highland, West Highland, Berkeley, Sunnyside and Sloan's Lake. Residents of the University Park Subdivision of Denver, Colo. recall life in the neighborhood from early 1900 to the mid-1980s including the growth and development of the area, the history of houses, churches, businesses, the park and Chamberlin Observatory. Recorded as part of 14 year old Barry Matchett's 1986 Eagle Scout project.
